Mother's Day

On Sunday I made a surprise trip home to see my mum and I knew they had arranged for a meal out so I called up the restaurant and asked them to make the table for 5 and not 4.

So I get there and surprised my stepdad and the twins and sat down whilst we waited for mum to arrive from her shift at work.

She turns up and the waitress says:

'Your table is ready but we do have a surprise for you'

Mum thought it was a cake or a present that had been brought to the meal but instead she saw me and started crying and rushing over!

I gave her a big hug and said Happy Mother's Day and she held me tight saying 'I can't believe you came'

This was my way of saying Thank You to my mum for everything she has ever done for me and for what she will continue to do in the future.

You really are amazing and are like a best friend to me.

We have our fall-outs and our disagreements but we always make up and both of us know that we will always be there for one another.
