London

Thursday:

For dinner we met up with my dad who had been given a suggestion by a colleague to visit 'Inamo' for great food and a fab experience.
We found it on a side road of Soho and were greeted with great enthusiasm, it was a 15 minute wait for a table so we grabbed a drink in the downstairs bar, which is great for a cosy ambience or a saucy first date if you are looking for somewhere that is intimate!

When we were taken to our table, it was instantly noted how incredible the restaurant was, with its projectors over the table that turned the table into the menu.
You could also play games, change the table scenery and watch the chef making your food with their very own 'chef cam' as well as order or call a waiter.

The ambience was brilliant and the food was incredible! I mean seriously the best food I have ever tasted!

We had the baby pork ribs, the Miso grilled seabass and the baby crispy prawns for starters and for mains we had the Berkshire pork rack, Duck with pancakes and Hot stone rib eye all of which were served with rice that we chose from the side menu.

The ribs were the best we had tasted...ever! the meat fell off the bone and the sauce was divine.
The seabass was served on a bamboo roll and was wrapped around a spring onion stem and they were tiny bites of pure pleasure.
The crispy prawns were served in a light batter and a very spicy sauce but were a great starter and were bursting with flavour.

The pork rack was in the most incredible sauce and complimented the sweet sticky rice to make a superb meal.
The duck pancakes were served with a mint salad which was a welcome change as it added a great zing and more of an intense taste than the simple hoi sin sauce and the duck fell off the bone.
The hot stone was small but very hot and cooked the rib-eye within seconds to deliver tender slithers of meat and I definitely recommend this dish!

This place has to be visited if you are going to London! The food is a little pricey, at around £20pp but way worth it and a guaranteed fun evening!
