On the 4th April, AnnieMillion and I went on a trip to Regent Street to attend the fabulous Michael Kors event.
I wore leather trousers, patent black square toed heels, a white cami and a nude blazer.
On first glance, the store was packed and was popping bright colours in the form of bags and clutches.
Greeted with champagne and warm hellos from all the assistants who were dressed in the latest collections surely made me excited for what was coming up.
As you can see, the collection is amazing! For starters, the shoes! Nude and Gold courts graced the stands showcasing elegance and femininity whilst a more edgier black stocky heel gave a tougher edge and made the collection more rock 'n' roll.
Then the clothes! splashes of emerald green, cobalt blue and crisp whites made sure that the customer knew it was summer and the bold prints made the collection feel tropical yet modern.
The clothes were perfect for the extremely fashionable Kors lady as they offered simplicity, colour and freshness.
Moving onto the jewellery, the chunky watches, the big bold necklaces and the sweet friendship bracelets gave a mixture of summer options. The bracelets offered a more casual day-time option whereas the chunky watches gave a more masculine edge to more classic clothes.
The bold necklaces however, proved that with a simple tee and skinny jeans, the accessories definitely make up an outfit and whether used to dress up or compliment an evening dress, they were available to wear in so many ways.
Then to what Michael Kors is known for...bags.
With the citrus yellow Hamilton bag up for grabs (which we unfortunately didn't win :(! )they graced the shelves with pops of colour in forest greens, cobalt blues and citrus yellows and from a range of sizes and designs, there was something for everyone.
My fave was the navy blue tote bag and it has now been put on my must-have list!
The colours available were perfect for summer and could be worn alongside a colourful outfit for someone more brave whereas the option of using it as a subtle entrance into the trend was also possible if worn with simple attire.
The talk from Glamour was very inspiring, showing how each item, such as the gorgeous tie-dye rope dress and the nautical cream and navy top were perfect for that summer holiday or layered for this silly English weather.
After leaving with a mini goodie bag containing a 30ml bottle of Kors perfume we were very happy, well...as happy as we could be without winning the bag, or the cocktail ring, or the necklace.
Best thing of the night: Being asked if my jacket was from 'The Kooples' and with my reply being 'No, its M&S' I was greeted by a very disgusted face and a comment that my jacket wasn't as nice as first thought. YOU ROCK HIGH STREET!
Worst thing of the night: Not winning any of the prizes!
Most wanted bag: Navy tote
Most wanted item of clothing: Tie-Dye rope dress
Thank You Michael Kors and thanks to Annie for letting me be her +1!
