Just before the Christmas period I decided to go from highlighted blonde to all over blonde and in my head I had the colour of Blake Lively in mind...however walking out of my very trusted hairdressers with canary yellow/white hair was NOT what I imagined to have happened and since then I have been sitting in a pit of hair despair.
I went back and got an ash toner which looked lovely but after one wash I had become Little Miss Canary again and decided to give up.
Popping into Asda with a purple shampoo purchase in mind resulted in me walking out with a Pro-Voke bottle of 'A Touch Of Silver' that held the promise to remove my yellow tones.
A few washes in and I'm now ash blonde with a few strands still holding onto that canary yellow, but hey ho! It is supposed to be the colour of the season for Spring '13 after all.
I also want length and after stupidly cutting my long hair into a very short disasterous bob in Year 8, I am still finding myself dealing with shoulder length hair.
My hair does not grow and i've tried all sorts, not using heat on it, using a tangle teaser instead of a brush, getting special treatments and even using split end oils to stop breaking but nothing seems to work and I'm continuously left with this awful length hair!
My new idea however is to wear my hair up every day, use a nourishing oil on it after every wash and not use any heat on it until my pony tail reaches the bottom of my neck, that will then be when the pony tail will be taken down to hopefully reveal 'nourished long wavy locks' that gleam and shine just like they do in them adverts!
I'll keep you posted.
